Zoom transcription summaries are available on Nutshell Sales Business and above. Timeline summarizations are limited by Nutshell plan.
With Nutshell’s Zoom integration, you can log Zoom calls as activities, get a full transcription of each call, and receive an AI-generated summary of the conversation. This makes it easy to review past meetings, capture key details, and keep your records up to date.

Getting started
Nutshell makes it easy to log and track Zoom meetings. If manual logging is enabled on the Zoom Settings page, look for the video camera icon in the activity list to find Zoom meetings that can be logged.
If automatic logging is enabled, Nutshell will log Zoom meetings automatically—no action needed. Simply find the logged activity in the timeline, complete with transcripts and summaries.
How to log Zoom calls manually
To log a Zoom meeting as an activity manually, head to the Zoom page and click the Log activity button. Alternatively, you can log a Zoom call directly from a Person, Company, or Lead page. Find the Zoom call in the Activities list, marked with a video icon.
Click on the activity to open the Zoom activity dialog, where you can view meeting details and add your own notes.
If multiple Zoom meetings are available, you’ll see a list to choose from. Each option will display the meeting name, time, number of participants, and call status, including whether it was recorded, not recorded, or processing. Note: Transcriptions and summaries are only available for Zoom meetings that were recorded to the cloud.
Once you have selected your Zoom meeting and checked the Automatically summarize this call checkbox, click the Log button to save it.
Transcriptions and AI-generated summaries will only be processed once the Zoom call is logged. It may take some time for processing to complete—once ready, click on the logged activity to view the full transcript, with the AI-generated summary at the top, which you can edit as needed. This makes it easy to share critical information with your colleagues faster and ensure everyone is on the same page.
If you didn't check the Automatically summarize this call button, you can still summarize meetings after by clicking the "Summarize transcript" button to receive a detailed summary of the call.
The summary will attach to the activity and will remain on the timeline. This makes it easy to share with other team members who may need to catch up on what was discussed during the call.
Note: The Nutshell Business plan includes 50 AI credits per user per month. Our Enterprise plan includes 100 AI credits per user per month. These credits can be used for Zoom transcriptions, Zoom summaries, timeline summarizations and more.
