Hi Becky! All logged activities in Nutshell will update your last contacted date. We'll follow up with you directly to see what might be preventing this from happening in your account.

Mario, that's a great question. There are a couple of ways you could address this.

    • Create an activity type called "No-show" or "Cancelled", which you can log without affecting your sales automation rules. You can change the type on your scheduled activity before you log it.
    • Reschedule the existing activity for a future date.
    • Delete the logged activity and write a note on the person's timeline indicating that they didn't show up.

Please feel free to contact our support team using the "Help" button in the corner if you have questions about any of these options!

I have this same issue.  What was the resolution?

For instance, after an activity is logged - it still will not show in last contacted as being contacted... so I have no way to track how recently I've contacted a lead.

Rhiana, thanks for writing about this! There shouldn't be a long delay between creating the activities and seeing them in those places. I'm going to follow up with you separately to see what might be causing that.

It seems like there is a long lag-time between creating an activity through the "contact" and when it syncs with google calendar and the activities list on the dashboard. is this accurate? If there's a way to expedite the syncing between the different platforms, please inform me! TIA!

This is nice and works fine. But what about activities that didn't happen? For instance the other party didn't show up for a virtual meeting. I don't wanna log those activities as I have a rule to auto advance stage after a logged meeting. But don't want to keep seeing the unlogged activity forever. And also don't want to loose the information that the person didn't show up, so deleting the activity is not an option.
