Nutshell’s Slack integration is a great way to keep your entire team up to speed with what's happening in your sales pipeline.

What can Nutshell's Slack integration do?

Nutshell's Slack integration enables you and your team to stay on top of what's going on with the active leads in your pipeline, right within the Slack channels where you're already communicating with each other.

Use Nutshell's Slack integration to:

  • Send notifications when new leads are created

  • Send notifications when leads move to a particular stage in the pipeline

  • Send notifications when leads are won or lost

  • See more details about a lead, person, or company when somebody shares a Nutshell link in Slack

FAQs

Why don't I see the option to integrate Slack with my Nutshell account?

Nutshell's Slack integration is not available for Nutshell Classic users. Please contact support@nutshell.com for information about updating your account.

Do user viewing permissions apply to unfurled links in Slack?

No. All members of a Slack channel will be able to view the unfurled details from a Nutshell link. Any viewing permissions that you set up for users and teams in Nutshell will not apply to unfurled links in Slack (learn more about user permissions here). If you would like to keep that data private, we recommend creating Slack channels for each of your Nutshell teams so that they can share links freely.

Will Nutshell links unfurl in private channels or direct messages?

Nutshell links will only unfurl in public Slack channels.

Is it possible to send automatic lead notifications to private channels?

Automated lead notifications must be sent to public Slack channels. They will not appear in private Slack channels.
