Getting started
Every team has different ways of working their leads. Some pipelines need certain information front and center, while others may require a different setup. As an admin, you can customize the lead page per pipeline so that your entire team has the right layout for their workflow.
These changes are made at the company level. This means that when you customize a lead page for a pipeline, the setup will be the same for every user in your company.
Open lead page settings
Go to any lead in the pipeline you want to customize
In the top right corner of the lead page, click the Layout button
The customization page will open
Configure your workspace
The workspace is the main area in the center of the lead page. Here, you can choose which widgets and custom field widgets appear for your team. If you have specific custom fields set up for your business, you can add those here so they are always visible.
The following widgets are available in your workspace:
Sales process widget: See the lead's current pipeline stage, the stage goal, and tasks for that stage—check off, skip, or delay tasks to update the lead.
Tasks widget: View all your open and completed tasks.
Activities widget: See scheduled and logged activities.
Automated emails widget: View your active and completed automated email sequences.
Timeline widget: See a historical timeline of every interaction you've had with the lead, from email sends and opens to logged activities and notes.
Custom fields widgets: Add a widget to view any of your lead's custom fields.
You can also decide what should not appear. For example, if your team does not use automated emails in a particular pipeline, you can hide that widget from the workspace by toggling it off.
The Timeline widget is a fixed part of the workspace and will always appear at the bottom, but you can reorder the other widgets to suit your workflow. Simply drag and drop them into the order you prefer.
Configure your sidebar
The sidebar is the column on the right-hand side of the lead page. Products and Companies are fixed widgets that will always appear here. Beyond that, you can turn other widgets on or off as needed.
The following widgets are available in your sidebar:
Companies & people widget: See all companies and people associated with the lead.
Revenue widget: View and edit the revenue associated with the lead, broken down by products, quotes, and invoices.
Competitors widget: See all competitors the lead may be considering.
Sources widget: View the lead's source.
Attachments widget: Access and upload any important documents related to the lead.
Custom fields widget: Add a widget to view any of your lead's custom fields.
For example, if you have a pipeline focused on after-sales care, you may not need the Quotes & Invoices widget. You can hide it so the sidebar only shows what is most useful for that type of lead. You can also add custom field widgets you have created for your business to this section.
Add a custom fields widget/s
You can create a single or multiple dedicated widgets to display the custom fields that matter most for a specific pipeline.
In the customization dialog, click + Add custom field widget
A new dialog will open where you can name the section
Select the custom fields you want to include in this widget
Click Save
Once saved, the widget can appear in the workspace or in the sidebar, depending on where you added it. All the custom fields you selected will be displayed in the middle of the workspace for easy access or in the sidebar for quick reference alongside other widgets.
Save your changes
Once you have arranged and selected your widgets, click the Save changes button in the top right of the dialog. This ensures that your settings are applied to the entire company.
Why customize per pipeline
Different pipelines often represent different types of work. A pipeline for new sales opportunities might need different fields and widgets than a pipeline for renewals or customer onboarding. By customizing the lead page per pipeline, you can make sure each page supports the way your team works best.
