Nutshell’s VisitorIQ is the ultimate solution to the age-old question of which companies are visiting your site. With VisitorIQ, you can easily track and identify the companies that have visited your website even before they fill out a form. You’ll also have access to valuable company information like revenue, number of employees, contact info, and more.
VisitorIQ removes the need to blindly approach companies and hope for a sale. Now, you have the power to proactively target companies that are already showing an interest in your product or service.
Your sales team will be able to quickly identify which companies to reach out to and what approach to take, resulting in more successful sales conversations.
To get started, you’ll need to embed Nutshell Analytics on your website. If you’re unfamiliar with Nutshell Analytics, check out this helpful article to learn more about setting it up — if you use Wordpress, it’s as easy as installing a plugin.
Once you’re all set up, Nutshell Analytics will collect visitor and company data using a blend of IP databases to identify the businesses that are browsing your site. In addition, Nutshell partners with industry-leading data enrichment providers to enrich company profiles, providing further accurate company data, helping you make better sales and marketing decisions.
See your visitors on a map
Our Analytics page displays where and what percentage of your company visitors are geographically based on a map and list view. You can hover over the map to see which states your visitors are from and click on the bar graph which will direct you to the visitor list for that region. With this information, you can easily spot visitors within your sales territories. At the moment, Nutshell Analytics is focused on the United States, but we are working to expand our data.
Visitors broken down by industry
The donut chart and list breakdown display the top 10 industries of the companies that have visited your website, enabling you to pinpoint visitors with the highest potential for conversion and relevance to your business.
What if the industry isn't suitable for my business?
VisitorIQ allows you to filter out industries that don’t matter to you. By default, all industries are tracked but in the Settings tab, you can select the industries you do not wish to track. In this way, the companies on your visitor list are relevant to the industries you would like to target.
Accessing and viewing the Visitor list
Nutshell Foundation customers can unlock 5 companies per month and Nutshell Pro customers can unlock 50 companies per month. If you’re hoping to see more than 50 companies, we’ll allow you to pay for a higher subscription plan coming soon.
On the Visitors tab you will be able to see the list of companies that have visited your site with the following information available:
- Number of employees
- First visit
When you’ve identified a visitor of potential value, you can choose to unlock them. Once you unlock the company, you will be able to see the additional critical information such as:
- Company name
- Email address
- Page visits
- Time on site
Which your sales team can use to identify and approach the companies that they’d like to target.
Once you’ve unlocked a visitor, you can also choose to add them as a company & lead in Nutshell, to begin your sales process!
How does VisitorIQ track companies?
Nutshell Analytics allows customers to place a script on their site that tracks visitors and companies. Once you’ve enabled Nutshell Analytics, your visits, and company data will be tracked automatically.
What kind of companies can benefit from using VisitorIQ?
Any company that relies on outbound sales or marketing tactics. It’s particularly useful for companies that sell to other businesses (B2B) with a high website traffic volume.
Will I be able to see how many unlocks or credits I have?
Yes, at the top of the table, you will be able to see how many companies you have unlocked and when you unlock another company or companies, you will be able to see how many you have left for the month.
Can I export the Visitor list?
This feature is not available for users right now.
When will the paid tiered version of VistorIQ be available?
