Looking for a Google contact sync? You can automatically create new contacts in your Google Contacts account from your Nutshell contacts with Zapier.
All you’ll need is:
- A Zapier account
- A Google Contacts account
Getting Your Accounts Ready
To connect your Nutshell account to Zapier, you’ll just need your email address, API Key, and account subdomain. For Google Contacts, you’ll simply be directed to Google, where you’ll be asked to authorize the connection to Zapier.
That’s all you need to get Nutshell and Google Contacts working together!
Integrating Nutshell with Google Contacts
All we’ll have to do now is create a new Zap that connects your Nutshell account to your Google Contacts account and automatically creates new Google Contacts from your Nutshell People. Click the “Use this Zap” button here to get started.
You’ll first need to connect your Nutshell account. After clicking on “Connect”, enter your email address, API Key, and account subdomain so Zapier can connect to your account.
Now, it’s time to connect your Google Contacts account. After clicking on “Connect” you will be asked to authorize the connection to Zapier.
You’re almost done. All that’s left is to match up the information from your Nutshell Contact to the contact fields in your Google Contacts account. We’ve already filled out the name and email fields for you, so if you don’t need to choose a contact group, you can proceed to the next step.
Once you’ve got everything from your Nutshell fields to your Google Contacts fields, click the button on the bottom to finish making your Zap.
With the heavy lifting out of the way, you can now test the Zap to ensure that everything is connected the way you wanted. Once the tests are done, go check your Google Contacts and make sure the new contact was added correctly. If so, you’re all set and Zapier will now automatically create new Contacts anytime People are created inside of your Nutshell account.
If you ever want to make any changes to the Nutshell and Google Contacts integration, or would like to automate anything else with Zapier, just go to Zapier, login to your account, and make any additions you’d like.
