How we will communicate with you

This article shares the different Nutshell communication channels for product updates, newsletters, and best practice tips.

By being a Nutshell customer, you can expect to receive certain types of emails from the Nutshell team. This article summarizes those communications.


In-app communications

We will occasionally display banners, nudges, and tooltips within the Nutshell app to share critical product information you must be aware of to use Nutshell effectively. These updates might include:

  • Required actions for admins or users

  • Maintenance updates

  • New releases that are relevant to your workflow

Please note you cannot opt out of these messages, but you will always have the option to close or dismiss them.

Frequency: Ad hoc


Product launches and insider newsletter

Our Shipping News newsletter contains our most recent product updates and alerts you to new features that have recently been released so you and your team can:

  • Stay updated on the newest features and functionalities in Nutshell

  • Leverage all of Nutshell’s capabilities to help your team reach its fullest potential

  • Stay informed about any changes to our UI that could impact your workflow

  • Upcoming live webinars

Frequency: Monthly, usually during the last week of the month

Although you can unsubscribe from The Shipping News, we strongly advise that you stay opted in to ensure you never miss valuable information about your CRM.


Sales and marketing insights newsletter

You will receive our monthly Sell to Win email newsletter that includes useful sales and marketing tips to help your team level up their skills, gain industry insights, and access the best resources Nutshell has to offer. The Sell to Win newsletter may include:

  • Recently published blog posts for sales and marketing teams

  • New guides, downloadable resources, and other content

  • Small reminders and product updates

  • Upcoming live webinars

  • Partner and customer spotlights

Frequency: Monthly, usually during the second week of the month.

To ensure you never miss best practice tips for using Nutshell, we recommend staying subscribed to Sell to Win.


Platform best practices newsletter

For new Nutshell users or those who just want to optimize their use of the platform, the Nuts and Bolts newsletter shares one best practice tip a month. These emails deep-dive into an essential Nutshell feature or new release and share all the essential details to help you and your team start using it right away. The newsletter may include:

  • Steps for using the feature

  • Relevant help center articles related to the feature

  • A support video

  • An interactive demo showing how to get set up

Frequency: Monthly, typically during the third week of the month.


Product updates emails

Besides our recurring monthly newsletters, we may also send occasional email broadcasts to specific segments of our customers sharing product information that may be relevant based on their needs and interests.

Frequency: Ad hoc
