How do I update my billing plan and payment information?

Learn how to update your Nutshell billing plan and payment info, including user count and accepted payment methods.

Do you need to update the number of users in your Nutshell subscription, or change your method of payment? Follow these steps!

  1. Choose your plan, including the number of people who need to log in to Nutshell

  2. Enter your payment information under the Billing information section

We recommend keeping the billing email up to date in case we need to contact you regarding your subscription.

Edit plan info

Nutshell users can choose a monthly or yearly subscription. Choose a yearly subscription for a discount on your payment! If you change your number of users during the month, you'll see a "Due next invoice" box, which shows you what your payment will be for the following month.

Payment options

Nutshell accepts payments by Credit/Debit card or by Bank Account (ACH).

Required payment info/billing info

Nutshell requires the following fields to be completed:

  • Billing email

  • Billing phone number

  • Country

  • Address 1

  • City

  • State

  • Postal code

Required fields - Credit/debit card info

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Card number

  • CVV

  • Expiration date

Required fields - Bank account info

  • Name on account

  • Account number

  • Confirm account number

  • Routing number

  • Choose checking or savings

You must agree to Nutshell’s license agreement and privacy policy.

FAQ

Do you accept PayPal?

No; Nutshell accepts payment via credit/debit card or a direct bank transfer (ACH).

Do you accept checks?

We don't currently accept payments via check, but you can pay via your checking or savings account if your bank is located within the US.

Do you accept wire transfers?

We don't currently support payments via wire transfer, but you can pay via your checking or savings account if your bank is located within the US.

What happens if my billing information is out of date?

If your payment is declined on your billing date, you will be able to continue to access Nutshell for 10 days. We will let you know that your billing info needs updating by email and within Nutshell. After 10 days, your account will be locked, and after 30 days of non-payment your account will be automatically cancelled. We'll hold on to your data for 90 more days, and then it will be deleted from our servers.
