Create API keys to allow third-party applications to communicate with Nutshell.

This feature can automatically create new leads when users complete a form on your website, or retrieve information about your won leads to add to your accounting system.

Treat your API key like a password. It will allow access to your Nutshell data.

Setup

  1. Click your Avatar icon in the lower-left

  2. Click Company settings

  3. Under the Connections heading, click API keys

  4. Click (+) Add API key..., and then choose the permission type from the following options:

FAQ

What kind of API key do I need to connect to Zapier?

If you're connecting with Zapier, be sure to choose the API + user impersonation type.
