Thanks for sharing details about your use case integrating Nutshell with other tools via Zapier! We hear you and we are actively working to improve the capabilities available through Zaps.

We'll update here when we can, but in the meantime, check out our native integration with Unbounce to create new leads, companies, and people simultaneously. This is the most robust way to add new leads to Nutshell from your landing pages!

Agree....looking for real-time integration with spotio.

I also agree - we'd like more Zap triggers. e.g. when a Lead is moved to a specific pipeline stage; or a custom field matches defined criteria; or a specific Activity type is created (e.g. "Create Invoice")... all of these, and more, would help us trigger workflows outside of Nutshell. I know the API can do most/all of this but we don't have the resources to create API scripts and host, so prefer Zapier

    Thanks!

    Katherine,

Native integration does not create a new lead, new contact and new organization does it?  That is my biggest issue.

Both the native Unbounce + Nutshell integration and Zapier integrations do create a new lead, contact, and organization in Nutshell. Please don't hesitate to contact our friendly, knowledgable support team with any questions about setting up these integrations!

More triggers and actions in Zapier is something we desperately need too. Something along the lines of what Pipedrive offers below. We're especially interested in the 'updated person' trigger.

For us its the lack of actions that is so frustrating.  We have multiple different apps that we use and the inability to update Companies, Contacts etc is so frustrating.

    For example:

We use Freshdesk for support ticketing.  A client can login to a portal and create a ticket.  There is no way to add a note to that client to say a ticket is in place.  Which means that when we contact a client we need to make sure to check the support system to make sure there's nothing in place before we make idiots of ourselves.

This has been an issue for years and all Nutshell support does is say "we're working on it"  https://support.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/39608

Freshdesk handles the Zapier integration properly.  At their heart they are a support ticket software so to be useful you need to create and edit tickets.  Below is a screenshot of their Zap triggers & actions.

Nutshell is a CRM but I cant update important details around the Customer Relationship.  Its a severe failing in my opinion and gets us looking at the competition every few months.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this dialogue! We're already working on developing several of these capabilities, and you can soon expect an update to ship our Zapier integration. We really appreciate the feedback, and will include your thoughts in our investigations.

@Mike Hargreaves - FYI, partly due to the Nutshell/Zapier limitations we started implementing our own integrations between Nutshell and two apps. So far so good using Nutshell webhooks - we're able to exchange data (2-ways) between the apps and Nutshell.

e.g. from a Nutshell Lead we can now trigger creation of a license entitlement in our license management platform (FlexNet Operations) - customer and Lead data is passed from Nutshell to Flex, then Flex passes back the entitlement ID to a custom field in Nutshell. It will be the same to trigger invoicing from Nutshell to our ERP tool.

This costs $, unless you have someone in-house that can build the integrations - but I see no reason it wouldn't work for Freshdesk, especially since all you want is a simple flag in Nutshell identifying if a freshdesk ticket exists.

@Kristen Gray, When will these Zapier updates be launched and what features will you be launching?
