Over the past month, we’ve gotten the chance to speak with a number of our customers one-on-one about their first impressions of Nutshell Forms. Since the launch of Forms and our first-look webinar, we’ve been eager to hear how effective Nutshell Forms has been in eliminating the gap between web form software and CRM.
From these conversations, we received multiple suggestions for a few specific features:
- URL fields
- the ability for form submitters to upload files and images
- notifications when a new form submission is received
I’m extremely excited to announce that file uploads are now available in Nutshell Forms!
In the form editor, when adding a new block, you’ll find the option for ‘File upload’ for your contact and lead pages.
With this new field, you can ask your customers to upload screenshots when requesting technical support, submit resumes for job applications, collecting images for contests or features for newsletters, or any other occasion where a file would provide important context. And of course, those files will automatically appear in the submitter’s contact or lead page in Nutshell, so you can reference them whenever you want.
We’ve also snuck in …
- new input blocks for lead custom fields and contact URLs
- the option of either checkboxes or a drop-down menu for decision fields
… and notifications for form submissions are coming very soon! 👷🏼🚧
