One of the most common questions our team gets about Nutshell’s email sync is: “Uh, wait a minute, does that mean that all the emails I send will appear in Nutshell?”
Fortunately, the answer is no. For one thing, email conversations between team members that don’t involve any third parties will not sync with Nutshell by default. As for other sensitive emails that you don’t want viewable in your CRM—think payroll emails, or messages from investors and company lawyers—we have a solution for that...our new global email blocklists!
Keep your Nutshell inbox on 'lock'
With the email blocklist, Nutshell admins can ensure that sensitive or unnecessary communications don’t become visible to other colleagues.
The email blocklist is global for your entire Nutshell account and applies to all of your users. That means every single message to and from the listed email addresses will stay out of Nutshell regardless of who from your company is communicating with them.
Psst...if you’re a non-admin Nutshell user, you can still use the personal blocklist available within your user settings to shield Nutshell from emails from your doctor or mother.
