Would you like to include your business logo into the emails you send from Nutshell? Learn how to do this in a few easy steps.
Including your personal branding in emails you send from inside Nutshell has never been easier. First, you'll want to upload your logo or another image to a public image-hosting website such as postimage.io or imgbb.com to produce a clickable link that you will select with your cursor and copy. Your next step will be to bring this link into Nutshell to show off your logo.
Logo in Email signature
The first way you can include your logo in emails you send from Nutshell is in your email signature. To begin, open your Nutshell dashboard and click Setup>Email and then select the Settings tab at the top of the screen that opens. Scroll to the bottom of this screen, and you'll see a text box where you can add an email signature for emails sent out of Nutshell.
You can add formatting to your email signature using Markdown, which is a plain text formatting syntax. You can learn more about Markdown and how to use it to style your emails in Nutshell by clicking here.
Next, take the link that you copied from the public image-hosting website and paste it into the following format:
And that's it! The next time you send an email from inside Nutshell to someone who is not also a Nutshell user in your account, your logo will appear at the bottom of the message you send.
Logo in Email Templates
The other place you can include your logo in emails you send from Nutshell is in an email template. To create or edit an email template, click Setup>Email and then select the Templates tab at the top of the screen that opens.
In addition to email signatures, you can also add formatting to your email templates using Markdown. All you'll need to do is take the link you copied from the public image-hosting website and paste it into the same Markdown format as discussed earlier in this article:
Remember that emails maintain Markdown formatting when kept inside Nutshell, or when sent from one Nutsheller to another. In order to test this formatting, you will want to be sure to send this email to someone who is not a user in Nutshell to admire your work.
