Disabled users cannot log in to Nutshell, and you must adjust your billing plan so that you won't be charged for disabled users.
Note: Don't forget to adjust your billing if you do not intend to replace a disabled user with a new team member since your Nutshell billing will not adjust automatically.
- Select the person's name under Setup > Users & teams
- Click Disable
- After you've disabled users, you may need to update the number of users on your plan under Setup > Nutshell billing. Your billing will not automatically change once you disable a user, in case you plan to replace the disabled user with a new team member.
If your free trial has expired and you need to disable users before you sign up, you still have access to the Users & Teams page:
You will be given the option to reassign the user's data to another user in Nutshell.
Cannot disable a user that is assigned during lead distribution
If you get an error message stating, "Cannot disable a user that is assigned during lead distribution," it means that the user is included in auto-assignment rules under Setup > User Assignment. Before the user can be disabled, you must remove them from the Lead Distribution section.
Don't forget to click "Save." 😉
