Email settings vary widely, so we recommend asking your email administrator to confirm your SMTP Hostname or IP, port, your username, and your password.
Try using the smtpout hostname, the SSL setting and port 465, and ensure your password is typed correctly. You may also want to check for extra spaces in the text input boxes, which will interfere with verifying your settings.
Lastly, once you've entered your settings and clicked "Save and test", wait about 5 minutes and then refresh the page. If you try to connect with different settings too quickly, it may appear to have failed. This is because we must throttle the attempts to connect. It can take up to a few minutes for the connection to be established successfully.
