Written by Andy Fowler

Sales quotas are available on Nutshell Growth and above.

Learn how to track your team's progress against their goals.

In Nutshell, admins can set up sales quotas at Sales> Sales quotas.

Sales quotas in Nutshell allow administrators to define sales targets for individual users and track performance across months, quarters, and years.

Quotas are assigned per user and can be managed at a granular monthly or quarterly level

How quotas are structured

Each quota is assigned to a single user and a fiscal year.

A quota can be:

  • Defined per month

  • Edited at any time

  • Copied or duplicated for other users

Quotas roll up into monthly totals for reporting and visibility.

Add a quota

To create a quota:

  1. Select the fiscal year

  2. Select Add a quota in the top right corner

  3. Choose the user

  4. In the table, enter values by month and hit 'Save changes'

Editing quotas

Quotas can be edited at any time.

  • Navigate between months using tab navigation

  • Update individual month values directly in each cell via the 'Edit' text link or the pencil icon

  • Changes apply immediately to totals and reporting

Copying quotas

Quota values can be copied between users to simplify setup. Simply hit the three dot menu and choose 'Copy to another user'.

The Forecast Report will show you your sales and projected sales compared to your quota. In the chart, the dotted line is your quota:

Toward the bottom of the page, you can view a table showing your sales to date, the value of all open leads in your pipeline (total and weighted by confidence), and the quota dollar values:
