Multiple active pipelines are available on Nutshell Pro and above. Draft pipelines are available on all Nutshell plans.

How to archive a pipeline

Pipelines may also be archived in Nutshell, which will hide them from the Active and Draft tabs on your Pipelines page. Archived pipelines are still accessible under the 'Archived' button in the upper right. To archive a pipeline, be sure that there are no open or pending leads in that pipeline by using your pipeline and status filters on the leads list to delete, win, lose, or cancel any leads. You may also edit the open or pending leads to place them in other pipelines.

The next step is to visit your pipeline setup page and archive the pipeline. Click the three-button menu to the right of the pipeline and select Archive:

To restore an archived pipeline, click the three-button menu on the archived pipeline and select Restore to draft.

How to deactivate a pipeline

Deactivating a pipeline moves it from Active status to Draft status. Draft pipelines can still be configured with automation rules, user assignments, follow-through, and more—however, draft pipelines cannot have any open leads in them and thus will not count toward plan limits.

To deactivate a pipeline, click the three-button menu next to the pipeline in your pipeline setup page and select Deactivate pipeline. The pipeline will then appear under the Draft tab, where you can edit or activate it later.

To restore a draft pipeline to Active status, select the three-button menu and click Activate pipeline.

Note that draft pipelines will still show up in reports and filters if they have any closed, won, or lost leads.
